Dr. Mallen graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Basis of Behavior, where he was also a member of the varsity ski team. He was a member of the first ever graduating class at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell, where he was named to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology: Head & Neck Surgery at The University of Connecticut Health System, where Jonathan was appointed Chief Resident for his Final year. He spent the last year at Emory University in Atlanta, receiving fellowship training in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery with some of the leading surgeons in the country.

Jonathan, who grew up in Ocean County, NJ, has recently relocated to Bucks County with his wife Daina, who herself is a fellowship-trained cardiac anesthesiologist. Dr. Mallen has been published as an author in preeminent ENT journals and is regularly invited to present his work and research at the local, regional, and national levels. Jonathan has been and remains an avid soccer player, rock climber, and scuba diver, and is an ELO Class B ranked chess player. Daina and Jonathan are thrilled to be joining our community, and we are excited to be adding his expertise in the medical and surgical treatment of paranasal sinus disease, skull base pathology, and rhinoplasty, as well as in general otolaryngology to our practice.
